Just checked the track list on a net shop - the second "Beating" is the "single version". Either it's a remix/edit of the lp track (it was common to shorten tracks for single releases) or else it's an alternate version. Wait and see!

"Beating Round The Bush" appears twice on the CD reissue - the bonus track is the slightly edited single version which was released in September 1977 as a trailer for the 'Mud Pack' compilation.
